Easy Does it! Plan Language and Clear Verbal Communication

This is an excellent resource on health literacy. It is presented in 8 Units, each with background data and information, definitions, a case study, and a worksheet. The resource is applicable to health professions education at the professional practice level, or trainees from students to residents and fellows. The way the units are presented, at the very minimum, effectively raise awareness of the impact of health literacy on health outcomes. The only limitation of the resource is that it does not list outcomes, but this is something that can be developed to assess the impact of the intervention. –Monica Yepes Rios, MD, NCEAS
