A Posthospitalization Home Visit Curriculum for Pediatric Patients

Date of Review: October, 2020

This is a well-designed and adaptable curriculum which aims to teach first and second year pediatric residents how to conduct effective home visits with a focus on the SDoH. The curriculum is delivered over 4 weeks, 4 hours total. While the total didactic time is not ideal for residents who have little or no SDoH knowledge, it makes the integration of the curriculum more feasible for residents to complete. All necessary slide decks, checklists and participant surveys are available free of charge as part of the resource. –Ashti Doobay Persaud, MD, NCEAS
