This article discusses the PRIDE study aimed at documenting the changes in depression and anxiety among sexual and gender minorities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Results indicate that anxiety and depression increased during the pandemic. The authors recommend that healthcare providers should carefully assess their sexual and gender minority patients regarding stress, anxiety and depression, even for patients who do not have a history of mental health issues.
