Refugee Health Elective

Date of Review: February, 2019

This resource, from MedEdPORTAL, provides a comprehensive curriculum for a refugee health elective for medical students. Strengths of the curriculum include the scope of topics covered and the multiple methods of assessment, including a two-year follow-up. Though the hands-on clinical experience with refugee patients is less robust, the curriculum could be easily implemented and was well-received.– Paul Ravenna, PhD, NCEAS
