Interpreter Cases for Cultural Competency Instruction

Date of Review: May, 2019

This resource, from MedEdPORTAL, provides five OSCE scripts to simulate clinical encounters with patients requiring interpreter services. Two are on pregnancy and spontaneous abortion, others are internal medicine outpatient topics. Learning objectives are generic to interpreter use. The description of the resource does not discuss the process of creating or validating the SP scripts. – Erin Goss, MD, NCEAS
