Interactive Session for Residents and Medical Students on Dermatologic Care for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Patients
Date of Review: June, 2021
This resource, from MedEdPORTAL, describes an interactive online LGBTQ dermatologic care training for residents and medical students. The curriculum is delivered over a 2 hour period and focuses on best practices and special considerations when treating members of the LGBTQ community. The short didactic time might not be ideal for those with little or no knowledge of the subject, however the condensed curriculum is certainly easier to implement. The accompanying free resources include lecture slides, role-play cases and pre/post surveys. –Dave Liss, PhD, NCEAS
