Cross-Cultural Care Training for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellows
Date of Review: October, 2018
This curriculum, from MedEdPORTAL, provides cross-cultural training in a sub-specialty with unique needs. The curriculum provides an instructor guide, pre-course reflection, learning modules, course feedback, a post-Course reflection and survey. The sample size is small (1-2 fellows) but the structure of the program is robust, incorporating didactics, small group role-play, learning modules and self-reflection opportunities. —Mobola Campbell, MD, NCEAS, and Elizabeth Ryan, EdD, NCEAS
