Advancing Advocacy: Implementation of a Child Health Advocacy Curriculum in a Pediatrics Residency Program
Date of Review: October, 2020
This curriculum resource provides educators with an extensive and practical curriculum that teaches residents how to approach increasing their child health advocacy skill within their local communities. Through lectures, online resources and interactive workshops residents learn how to better identify critical gaps in child health in their communities and engage more effectively with local, state and federal policymakers. All lecture and workshop slides, including a curriculum survey, are available for free as a part of this resource. All elements appear highly adaptable. –Ashti Doobay Persaud, MD, NCEAS
