Models for integrating behavioral medicine on a family medicine in-patient teaching service

This is a peer reviewed publication describing 3 family medicine residency program incorporation of behavioral medicine providers and content into their inpatient ward teaching services. The article provides a general description of how the curriculum was implemented and a general outline of SDoH/Behavior topics. The idea for including behavior medicine as a dedicated part of morning report, rounds or staffing for inpatient service is excellent, but the article is descriptive without any outcome measures of success and lacking in enough details to implement.—Aashish Didwania, MD, NCEAS
