Healthy People: Disability and Health

This resource provided by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion’s Healthy People 2020 initiative can be used to promote health equity among persons with disability. The resource describes why understanding disability in the context of health is important, recommendations to improve health equity among these populations and key emerging issues. The website also includes a list of resources that provide evidence-based information and recommendations related to Disability and Health.
