Buttell and colleagues surveyed 374 individuals in New Orleans over 10 weeks starting in April 2020 to assess the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on individuals experiencing intimate partner violence. They found that individuals experiencing IPV report reduced resilience and increased stress compared with single individuals and those in relationships without IPV. —Erin Goss, MD
