People Living with Disabilities

This report of a workshop of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine details the current state of research, services and policy and provides recommendations for addressing the inequities of care and disparities in health outcomes in populations with disabilities from the perspective of policy and structure. For the educator interested in developing a lecture or curriculum on this topic it is a useful resource and it’s references can provide useful evidence- based information that could be used.
