Pediatrics Screening Time:Tuning In to the Needs of Families

Date of Review: May, 2019

This resource is one module in a 3 part series intended to be completed in less than 1/2 hour by accessing the website. It offers a video-based training module, conversation simulations, a screening tool selector, and a resource center to help pediatric professionals learn more about the screening process for social determinants of health. The interactive video, give suggestions and feedback as one proceeds and an assessment of ones skill at the end. While it is geared to practice teams, and one can obtain CME credit, it is very worthwhile for both medical students and residents. – Barbara Bayldon, MD, NCEAS
