Human Impact partners – Introduction to Health Equity and Racial Justice

Date of Review: January, 2025

This resource serves as a basic introduction to health equity and racial justice, presented such that it is generally applicable to anyone in the public health sector. It is a pre-recorded webinar separated into three interactive modules which employ definitions, real-world examples as well as historical context to help explain the intersection of racial justice and public health. The webinar is well-organized and includes some helpful visual aids. It also includes a pdf/powerpoint version of the webinar which is helpful for following along. It is not time intensive and the information is articulated clearly. In my opinion, this is a foundational resource. However, it is a great launching pad for a deeper dive into the topics of racism and health equity and power structures.  Jane-Frances Aruma, MD, NCEAS
