Culturally Responsive Cervical and Breast Cancer Screenings for LGBTQIA+ Communities
Date of Review: January, 2025
This webinar provides education regarding cervical and breast examinations and special considerations for LGBTQIA patients. It begins by reviewing specific healthcare needs of this patient population. It then offers strategies in providing culturally competent and gender affirming care when performing these cancer screenings. I was not able to access the webinar myself but I think this is a really great tool that offers tangible skills in a manner that is accessible to all. — Anna Marie Young, MD, NCEAS
