Resource of the Month
Structural Competency: A Faculty Development Workshop Series for Anti-racism in Medical Education
This resource describes a faculty development curriculum focused on teaching structural competency and anti-racism in medical education to clinical educators. It was created for faculty responsible for designing and implementing curricula, both in didactic settings and at the bedside. The curriculum consists of a series of workshops that use case-based learning, facilitated discussions, and practical teaching tools to help faculty integrate concepts such as structural racism and social determinants of health (SDOH) into their clinical practice.
