This article describes how the Kovler Center Child Trauma Program (KCCTP) transitioned to working with patients remotely, following the stay at home orders. This center provides mental health and social services support to immigrant and refugee children and families in Chicago that have experienced trauma. Following the lockdown, the center staff worked directly with families to help them with needed services, such as food pantry programs, housing rent relief and providing information and resources about COVID-19. The center is continuing to evolve the way they help their patients as the pandemic continues.
