This paper uses a case study approach using the IPV survival story from one of the authors to contextualize the gravity of domestic violence (DV) and the need for enhanced support for persons experiencing domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper presents helpful examples and tips for the assessment of DV including history, physical examination, as well as safety assessment at home and work. —Memoona Hasnain, MD, MHPE, PhD
