Baggett T, Racine M, Lewis E. Addressing COVID-19 Among People Experiencing Homelessness: Description, Adaptation, and Early Findings of a Multiagency Response in Boston. Public Health Reports. 2020. https://doi.org/10.1177/0033354920936227.

Discusses the innovative ways that Boston cared for the homeless population to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The components that were implemented were: symptom screening at the front door, expedited testing at pop up sites, isolation and management sites for people with COVID or suspected to have COVID, and contact investigation and tracing. This article discusses how each of the components that were implemented, how they worked, and how they had to adapt them during the COVID outbreak.—Clare Petrie, NCEAS
