Addressing Social Determinants of Health (SDOH): Beyond the Clinic Walls
Date of Review: March, 2019
This resource aims to help practicing clinicians to engage with social determinants of health at the clinical practice level. Through a series of brief modules, it defines social determinants of health, shares resources to learn more about social determinants of health within one’s community, and then walks clinicians through the steps needed to implement plans to address social determinants of health at the practice level. The resource includes links to additional modules to support change management and offers resources from the AMA to give peer-support to those working through the resources. The module includes case studies and quizzes (requires a login) along with powerpoint slides that can be used by the participant to teach others within a practice. Reviewing the module content would not take a significant amount of time; those hoping to change their practice by fully implementing the module will wish to have dedicated time, resources, and engagement from their team to do so.– Brigid Dolan, MD, NCEAS

I wondering if is any curriculum about voting as a social determinant of health?
There is work being done in this space, here is website with information. We will work to see if we can find curriculum on this topic. https://vot-er.org/
